The Chilean-American YouTuber Gonzalo Lira López, critic of the government of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was missing since April 15, 2022.His fans started a campaign to know his whereabouts and rumors circulated that he was dead and tortured by Azov Battalion members.

However on April 22, 2022, Gonzalo appeared on a live on the YouTube Channel The Duran in which he said he was well, he didn’t have access to his social media accounts, and he was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine.

He accused The Daily Beast of writing an article that put him at risk and also said that if no news were heard of him in 12 hours, probably something bad happened to him.

He is also known as Coach Red Pill because of one of his YouTube Channels.

The Chilean Foreign Affairs Ministry informed their intentions to find him and the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry made a declaration about wanting him to be alive.
